At Kiddee Korner, we understand early childhood education and it’s importance in the development of well balanced and productive adults.  We also recognize that not every child learns in the same way or at the same rate.  There is no ONE method or approach that works for every child.  While HighScope is our educational platform, our certified educators and staff are familiar with a wide range of teaching methods and the materials and strategies needed to enrich the learning process of all our children.

Infants:

A warm, safe, healthy & loving environment that nurtures the physical, social, emotional and cognitive development of infants.

Toddlers:

Kiddee Korner provides a secure & inviting environment within which toddlers are free to move about, explore materials, exercise creativity and solve problems.

Preschool:

Children in our preschool program are encouraged to unfold their natural ability to learn through play.  This curriculum promotes independence, creativity and problems solving.

All of our classroom teachers hold at least a bachelor’s degree with P3 (Preschool Through Grade 3) certifications. Several have Masters degrees in Early Childhood Education.

Our Teacher’s Assistants are all CDA (Child Development Associate) certified, some with advanced degrees.

Our Family Workers hold the current FDC (Family Development Credential).

Kiddee Korner understands parent involvement is a key component to the success of any child’s education and development. Parents are their child’s first and most important teachers. Current research shows that children are more successful learners when their parents are actively involved in the learning process, both at home and at school. To support parents as partners with us, we encourage families to be involved in their child’s education at Kiddee Korner. We offer an open-door policy, allowing parents to visit and participate in our programs at all times, fostering a sense of openness and inclusion.
